This chromium content ensures the formation of an oxide layer on the surface. Steel has high corrosion resistance in aggressive environments, high oxidation resistance and excellent low-temperature properties. AISI 304 stainless steel is resistant to the negative effects of water and acid solutions in high concentrations.
